Rev. Dr. Wallace Charles Smith has been serving MMBB since 2007. He was President of Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University from 2005 –2010, and also served as Dean of the Wallace Charles Smith School of Christian Ministries at Palmer Theological Seminary. He is currently Senior Minister of the historic Shiloh Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. An ordained minister of the ABCUSA and the Progressive National Baptist Convention, USA, Dr. Smith has also been Pastor of the First Baptist Church, Capitol Hill, Nashville, TN, and the Calvary Baptist Church, Chester, PA.
A graduate of Villanova University, he earned an M.Div. and a D.Min. degree from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer Theological Seminary). Dr. Smith has served on the faculty of Vanderbilt University Divinity School, Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Howard Divinity School and Wesley Theological Seminary. He is a former Vice President of the Baptist World Alliance. MMBB service began in 2007. Member of the Audit Committee and Benefits Committee.
