1.  What is FWI?
   
   It is a convenient way for MMBB members to learn about money matters, or it can serve as a refresher. FWI is a visually engaging and interactive online learning experience designed for both clergy and lay staff. FWI courses use animated videos and quizzes to share strategies, tactics and tips viewers can use immediately.
   
   
2. Who can use FWI?
   
   All MMBB members can use FWI as a benefit of membership at no additional cost. FWI contains content for members at all stages of their financial journey, whether you’re already retired, decades away or just around the corner.
   
   
3. Why does FWI work?
   
   FWI is user friendly and offers:

4. What will I learn from FWI?

The range of topics includes:

• How to manage and reduce debt
• How to negotiate a fair compensation package
• How to plan for retirement (no matter your timeline)

We added a new course in 2025 called “Approaching Retirement,” designed specifically for clergy and lay church staff aged 50 and older.

5. How much time do I need to invest in FWI?

You can learn at your own pace. Got 5 minutes? That’s all it takes to start boosting your financial IQ. Watch one video a day during a coffee break or quiet moment, and you’ll finish a course before you know it.

6. How do I qualify for a chance at the prize?

The first 15 members to complete any of the four FWI courses will receive a $25 Amazon gift card. Yes, really.

7. How do I enroll?

• Log into the MMBB Member Portal landing page and scroll down to the panel below Member Documents.
• If you don’t have a Member Portal password, visit www.mmbb.org/members to create one.
• Click the link in the panel below Member Documents for details on how to register for FWI.
• After logging into FWI, choose a course that fits your needs.
• Start learning—no pressure, just progress.
• Complete a course and claim your reward (if you're one of the first 15)!

8. How has FWI changed in the past year?

MMBB upgraded the learning software with more intuitive, simpler navigation, a more contemporary look and more modern functionality. We’ve also added our newest course, “Approaching Retirement.”
