Rev. Miriam Chacón-Peralta is a Retirement Benefits Consultant for MMBB. Prior to joining MMBB, Miriam co-founded and served Encuentro Ministries, a non-profit organization that provides pastoral care, training, and networking of resources for Christian Latino pastors and leaders. She has extensive experience as a church planter, pastor, educator, Hispanic church consultant, freelance writer, translator, and editor of culturally appropriate resources for Hispanic contexts. She also directed national programs for Hispanic Christian education, young adult ministry, missions and communications within ABC-USA. Miriam’s latest endeavor was becoming a leadership and life coach.
Miriam earned a B.A. from Purdue University, an M.A. from the University of Chicago, MDiv. and M.A.C.E. from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary.
