The success of the Heritage of Sharing annual appeal lies in providing peer-to-peer support.

Gifts from MMBB members to the MMBB family supplement emergency assistance provided through noncontractual benevolence support from the MMBB endowment. Since the launch of Heritage of Sharing in 2005, generous donors have given nearly 6 million dollars to help their peers, pastors, missionaries and lay staff, in times of need.

MMBB members, both active and retired, may apply for emergency assistance to supplement income, to pay down debt, to cover living and medical expenses and other emergencies, to provide education grants for children of deceased or disabled members, and more. Employers may apply to receive premium assistance to help provide for their pastors’ retirement, disability and life insurance benefits.
