MMBB Offers Exciting Lineup at the ABCUSA Biennial Mission Summit

MMBB is excited to participate in the ABCUSA Biennial Mission Summit, held from June 23 to 25, 2023, at the Puerto Rico Convention Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico. From noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 23, we will hold the MMBB Member Luncheon & Address featuring remarks from our Chief Executive Officer Louis P. Barbarin, CPA, and our keynote speaker Rev. Dr. Thad S. Austin, and an uplifting musical selection.

Dr. Austin serves as the Executive Director of the Common Table Collaborative and as Vice President of the EveryAge Foundation. His most recent book, Caring for Clergy: Understanding a Disconnected Network of Providers, explores the support available to religious leaders and its relationship to the care of pastors. Dr. Austin will explore the current state of the church and share signs of hope in the changing church landscape.

In addition, please join us for a book reading by Dr. Austin and a free giveaway of his book, Caring for Clergy: Understanding a Disconnected Network of Providers, on Saturday, June 24 from 3 to 4 p.m. at the MMBB booth.

We’re offering two financial workshops on Saturday, June 24:

  1. Making the Most of Your MMBB Experience from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in room 104A/104B
  2. Let’s Talk Money: Managing Your Money in Uncertain Times from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in room in room 104A/104B
