Rev. Dr. Matthew R. Rasure is Director of Development of the Allston Brighton Food Pantry in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to leading the organization’s fundraising efforts, he currently acts as Interim Director and as an embedded consultant guiding strategic organizational restructuring and leadership transition. His non-profit consulting work focuses on building resilient fundraising systems, strengthening community partnerships, and ensuring that operations are scaled to balance long-term stability with staff and client flourishing.
Previously, Dr. Rasure spent eleven years as Senior Minister of the First Baptist Church of Medford, Massachusetts. He also serves as Treasurer of the Massachusetts Baptist Charitable Society. Dr. Rasure holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. He is the author of Holy Brothers: Geography, Kinship, and Priesthood in Ancient Israel. MMBB service began 2026. Member of the Audit Committee and Benefit Committee.
