Retirement Benefits
The Retirement Plan (RP) component of the Benefits for Life program offers a blend of:
- tax-deferred savings throughout your career;
- a range of professionally-managed investment choices ;
- loan and withdrawal features ;
- flexible income options at retirement ;
- retirement income for life that is recalculated each year to reflect the investment experience of the annuity pool; and
- special tax advantages on benefits paid to clergy.
You can choose to invest 100% of your contributions in one or more of MMBB’s investment funds. If you choose not to customize your portfolio, all contributions will be invested in the Balanced Fund, our most highly diversified fund. Loans and withdrawals from RP accounts may be available before retirement to eligible members.
