2011 Guide for Church-Related Employers Now Available

The Ministers and Missionaries Benefit Board (“MMBB”) has released its 2011 Guide for Church-Related Employers (“Employer Guide”). The Employer Guide can assist churches with information on clergy compensation, pastoral budgeting, taxes and benefits.

“As a church-based ministry, we understand the unique challenges — and opportunities — our fellow church-related employers face each year,” explained Rev. Sumner M. Grant, MMBB’s executive director. “Our Employer Guide is a comprehensive resource for churches, covering everything from how to fill out your church’s W-2 form to how federal 403(b) regulations affect your church.”

The 2011 Employer Guide includes detailed information on pastoral budgeting and cost of living adjustments as well as an easy-to-use checklist for year-end activities. The publication is free to MMBB members and available in our documents section.
