Q: I don't know anything about investing. Where should I start? A: Do your research. Read all the materials in this site, paying particular attention to the detailed descriptions of the funds available.
Q: Do I have to direct the investment of my accounts? A: No. Retirement Plan, The Annuity Supplement (TAS) and the Tax-Deferred Annuity (TDA) members may direct all or a portion of their accounts to funds available through MMBB. Any balances you do not direct will be invested in the Balanced Fund.
Q: How do I direct my investments? A: There are no forms to complete. You can direct your investments online with ACS or by using a touch-tone telephone and the voice response system at 1-877-626-4032. If you use a rotary telephone, simply stay on the line; your call will be transferred to a Customer Service Representative.
Q: Why do I need a Personal Identification Number (PIN)? A: Your PIN is your security. It ensures that no one can access your account or make changes in your investment decisions without your authorization. Think of it as your signature, authorizing MMBB to make transactions on your behalf.
Q: If I allow MMBB to direct 100% of my accounts, can I change my mind later? A: Yes. At any time you can direct your investments. Simply call 877-626-4032 then follow the voice prompts to make your selections from your touch-tone phone. If you use a rotary phone, call 877-626-4032 and simply stay on the line; your call will be transferred to a Customer Service Representative. Or, you can use the Internet to complete transactions.
