Tutorial: Guide to Managing Your Current Investments by Phone

Use this guide to help navigate your call.

Personal ID # (PIN)

Your Personal Identification Number (PIN) allows the ACS HR Solutions Service Center to customize the service it offers you. Once you have entered your Social Security number and your PIN, your account profile is available immediately – giving you and an ACS Customer Service Representative access to your account information and eligibility.

Your PIN protects you. Think of it as your signature authorizing the Service Center to provide you personal information.

If you forget your PIN, you have three ways to receive it:

  • After your initial setup with your PIN, you can set the option for a challenge question for online access. Answer the challenge question and you will have access to your account.
  • Call ACS at 1-877-626-4032, where the system will request your SSN, then your PIN. If you do not enter a PIN, you will be told the entry was not recognized and asked to try again. You will then get the option to enter 1 to try again, 2 for a PIN reminder, 0 to speak with a customer service representative, or # to end the call. Select 2.
  • Request that ACS mail you your PIN reminder when speaking to a customer service representative.

When you receive your PIN, you may change your PIN to a six-digit number of your own choosing. Pick something you aren’t likely to forget – but note that the system will not permit you to choose a PIN that would be easy for someone else to guess (the last six digits of your Social Security number, for example, or numbers representing your birthday).

Speaking to a Representative

When you call the ACS HR Solutions Service Center, you can transfer to an ACS Customer Service Representative voice response system. The table below shows services available to you. You can also call an MMBB Senior Benefits Specialist for assistance.

Here is what you will hear when you call 877.626.4032:

Dial 1.877.626.4032

The system can be accessed from any touch-tone telephone. (If you use a rotary phone, you will be instructed to stay on the line. Your call will be transferred to an ACS Customer Service Representative.)

Enter your Social Security Number. Have your Social Security number handy when you call.

Enter your Personal Identification (PIN)#. You will then be directed to your affiliate plan(s). If you are in more than one plan, you have the opportunity to select the plan, then the system provides summary information.

Welcome to the Main Menu

The Main Menu prompts you to make a selection.

Press 1 – Your Affiliate Retirement Plan

You will then be able to:

  • press 1 for account balance;
  • press 2 for all other questions or transaction; or
  • press 9 to return to the main menu.

Press 2 – Your Affiliate Tax Deferred Annuity (TDA) Plan

You will then be able to:

  • press 1 for account balance;
  • press 2 for all other questions or transaction; or
  • press 9 to return to the main menu.

Press 3 – Your Affiliate The Annuity Supplement (TAS) Plan

You will then be able to:

  • press 1 for account balance;
  • press 2 for all other questions or transaction; or
  • press 9 to return to the main menu.

Press 4 – Change your PIN#

Members can select this option to change their PIN to a number of their own choosing.
